Honest answer

Why can't I just connect my account?

The fair question everyone asks first. The answer is not that we are lazy. It is that the pipe does not exist.

The short answer

Fortnite has no public API that hands out individual matches. There is no per game feed, no match history endpoint, nothing that could tell your coach what happened in the fight you just lost.

What does exist is season level and lifetime totals through an unofficial route, and it is unreliable and spotty. It goes stale, it drops modes, it disagrees with itself between sites, and it can stop returning your account with no warning. Building coaching on top of that would mean your coach quietly going blind on random nights.

So you log. Twenty seconds after a session, by quick entry or by uploading the scoreboard, and the read is built on numbers that are actually yours.

What season totals cannot tell you

A lifetime K/D is an average of a thousand different nights. It cannot say that you die on the third rotation, that your accuracy falls off after ninety minutes, or that you take worse fights when you are behind.

Coaching lives at the match level. That is precisely the level no feed exposes.

The part no API would ever have

Where you dropped and why, how the squad was communicating, what you were trying to do in the fight, whether you felt sharp or tilted. Those are the inputs your coach leans on hardest, and no account connection in any game would ever return them. Logging is the only way they reach the read at all.

We made logging cheap instead

Manual entry, quick entry, or upload the end of match scoreboard and we pull the numbers off the image. The image is read and then discarded. It is never stored.

A session of matches takes a couple of minutes, and the logging itself is free forever on Survivor, along with your stat review, your coach match and your player card.

If Epic ever ships a real match API

We will use it for what it covers, and it would still only fill in the numbers half. The rest of the read stays a conversation between you and your coach.

Common questions

Why can't I just log in with my Epic account?
Fortnite has no public per match feed. The stats that are available are season level totals from an unofficial route, and they are spotty and often stale. There is nothing to log in to that would hand us your last game.
Do the sites that show my stats not prove it works?
They show season and lifetime totals, and they are the first to tell you when the numbers stop refreshing. Totals cannot tell you what happened in the fight you lost twenty minutes ago.
How long does logging actually take?
About twenty seconds. Quick entry is a few taps, or you upload the end of match scoreboard and we read the numbers off it. The image is read and then discarded, never stored.
Would you connect an account if Epic opened it up?
Yes, for the parts it would cover. The things your coach reads most, how you felt, where you dropped, why you took the fight, still would not be in any feed.
